What is the warranty on a NetBungee ?
The NetBungee should last for years. But, if any part of it fails due to normal use, return the whole NetBungee to us with $3 for return shipping, and it will be quickly repaired or replaced. Note: The tubing is treated with 303 Aerospace Protectant to reduce denigration of the latex rubber tubing from UV radiation in sunlight. It should be retreated every season for optimal length of service. Because there is no guarantee that the end user will retreat, the tubing is fully covered for only two years.
If it is the tubing that needs to be replaced past two years, it can be sent in with an additional $2 ($5 total) and the tubing will also be replaced.
Normal use covered on the warranty includes the zinc net ring rusting during use in fresh water, either plastic end coming off (even if they get crushed!), or the tubing failing to return to its original length within one inch. The one thing that is not covered is if the tubing gets cut... the tubing is durable (almost impervious) to rain, cold, oil, gas, salt water... but not to a sharp object.
The NetBungee is made of high quality materials including ABS plastic fittings, UV protectant treated tubing, and zinc or stainless (salt water version) net ring. If your net will be used in a salt water environment, please purchase the salt water version. The only difference between the regular/fresh water version and the salt water version is the net ring (zinc plated vs. stainless steel) -- all other components are not affected by saltwater.
